What Now?

It's amazing how everything seems to pile up at once. Whether this week is a culmination of things rolling in this direction that I have overlooked or if they have appeared from nowhere I cannot say, but they have surprised me nonetheless. I only hope that these things are just temporary glitches in the software program that is my life, although I know that some of these things will not be going away anytime soon.

However all is not dim, and some surprises have been much more than pleasant as of late. In fact, I have never been happier to eat my words. Old friendships being mended to better than they were when the ties were severed along with a calm and peace that has been hard for me to find have left me refreshed even in the madness of this week.

I guess it all goes to show that despite the fact that I desire to control everything while my ineptness to do so screams in my ear somehow I still manage to let go. Despite the fact that people make stupid decisions their lives will go on. Despite the fact I'm full of earth and unworthy of God's grace he still gives it to me so freely.

Thank You for grace.

Flying Into Daybreak

Just got back from Nashville, TN where I attending the Passion '06 conference.

It was absolutely amazing.

18,000+ college students on fire for Christ in one place. The Gaylord Arena was packed out, don't think you could have fit another person in there.

While we were there, Charlie Hall released a new CD, Flying Into Daybreak. I encourage anyone who even claims to like music to check it out. Even if you're not religious or hate religious music, Charlie brings a unique freshness to the table that blows me away every time I listen.

It was so long in coming and so fast in going. I can't wait for Passion '07. If you're interested in going, let me know and we'll make it happen.
