It's Just Life- Wake Up and Smell the Thorns

In light of some events that have taken place in the lives of some of my fiends these past few weeks, I'd like to address them directly:

Build a bridge and get over it.

Rejection and the hurt, humiliation, and gut-wrenching physical pain that it can cause are some of the hardest things to recover from. While I've never been in a relationship, I can vouch that it doesn't take getting dumped to know what rejection feels like.

Rejection isn't just something that is attached romantic relationships, but friendships as well.
While I can't speak directly from a romantic-relationship point of view, I know what it feels like to be left alone by someone who you considered to be a best friend.

I also know what it feels like to be rejected by the opposite sex. I know, shock to the world wide web: Lincoln isn't quite the lady's man you may have thought. Despite my best efforts (and there have been a few) I have yet to catch the mutual interest of someone of the female persuasion.

But my life goes on. Now mind you, for a few days or weeks it might have stood at a stand still, but you pick your self up, dust your self off and look for the next girl who is going to make you feel like the elephant man.

hey, thanks for using my comic as a referance. Thank you very much. I'm glad other people can totally relate to the situations I write about. I definatly know how it all is. And I agree, people should work together on things. But it seems the "answer" is to just take a "break" -and that is a complete lie.

I don't usually read this, but I saw you posted something about me, and wanted to check it out. I hope you enjoy the comic. Thanks. Totally <3 you if your a fan.

Good luck
